DESCRIPTION:The Korean War Veterans Memorial Foundation will hold a ceremony and wreath-laying event at the Korean War Veterans Memorial on Memorial Day to pay tribute to all those who served and sacrificed for freedom. \nTo participate\, you can either view the ceremony live on the Foundation’s Facebook page or join us in person at the Korean War Veterans Memorial at 2:15 pm on May 25th. \nThe ceremony will be a solemn yet powerful tribute to the brave men and women who fought valiantly during the Korean War. As we gather at the memorial\, we will remember their sacrifices and honor their legacy of courage and selflessness. \nWhether you choose to join us virtually or in person\, your presence and support are deeply appreciated. The event will feature an opportunity to connect with the Memorial’s community of supporters\, poignant remarks\, and a solemn wreath-laying ceremony to remember those who gave their all for freedom. \nAttendees will include Veterans\, dignitaries\, family members\, and supporters who gather not only to honor the past but also to look towards a future where the lessons learned from the Korean War guide us towards a better future. As we stand united in remembrance\, we reaffirm our commitment to ensuring that their contributions continue to inspire generations to come.\nRegister\n\n \nKorean Armistice Agreement\, signed on July 27\, 1953\, brought an end to the hostilities of the Korean War\, a conflict that had wrought immense devastation and loss.
