Colonel Louis Berman, U.S. Army, Retired

Louis Berman has had 28 years of commissioned military service and since his entry into the service, he has lived his life upholding the Army Values. While serving he attended Field Artillery School, Engineering School, USA Combined Arms Services Staff School, and the USA Command & General Staff College. Prior to commissioning as an Officer in the United States Army, he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture at Syracuse University. He later attended the University of Maryland and obtained a Master’s degree in Engineering Management.  Louis also has had 25 years of civilian occupational experience as a Project Designer and Construction Manager and supervisor for several federal agencies. Louis’s studies both military and civilian sectors have made him the well-rounded individual he is today. His accomplishments in and out of uniform have made him a viable asset to the Korean War Veterans Memorial Foundation as he has worked diligently to educate the public about the forgotten war and to fundraise for the foundation.
