72nd Commemoration Ceremony of the Korean Armistice Agreement

at the Korean War Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C.

On Sunday, July 27, 2025, the Korean War Veterans Memorial Foundation will commemorate the 72nd anniversary of the signing of the Korean Armistice Agreement which was intended to end hostilities of the Korean War.

This 72nd Commemorative Ceremony will honor all Korean War Veterans and their Families at the home of the 1.8 million Americans who fought in the Korean War.  The Foundation is very thankful for the 7 million visitors from all over the world who visit the Memorial each year.

The ceremony offers an opportunity to express gratitude for those who served in the Korean War to defend the people of South Korea and to make America better.

July 27, 2025 also marks the 30th anniversary of the Korean War Veterans Memorial.  On July 27, 1995, the Memorial was dedicated to the men and women who served in the Korean War. Management of the national Memorial was turned over to the National Park Service. In October 1995, the Korean War Veterans Memorial Foundation was established to ensure the perpetual maintenance of the Korean War Veterans Memorial.

Where: Korean War Veterans Memorial on the National Mall, Washington, DC

The ceremony will be located in the field next to the Korean War Veterans Memorial.

Why: Commemorate the 72nd anniversary of the signing of the Korean Armistice Agreement, which was meant to end hostilities of the Korean War.  We want to thank all Veterans of the Korean War and their Families.
